House Rules

PARTIES
★ No parties or events. Maximum occupancy is 6 pre-registered guests, 2 additional daytime visitors with pre-approval.

FEES
★ Non-refundable pet fee of $75 per dog
★ $200 penalty per undisclosed pet

CHILDREN
★ We do not allow children under 9 because the pool lacks a pool fence and automatic patio door lock and the interior is not child-proofed.

POOL
★ We cannot guarantee the pool will reach full temperature on the colder days, and we don’t charge an extra nightly fee because of this. Target temperature is set for 84 degrees. If the air temp falls below 50 degrees at night, it is unlikely the heater will be able to get to target temperature. Please understand that a heated pool in winter is nowhere near a hot tub temperature.
★ Pool is not heated mid-late May through late September.
★ Do not attempt to adjust the pool heater on your own, always contact us because we have remote access to adjust the temperature.
★We highly recommend the use of a pool cover in winter (video instructions will be provided)

RENTAL AGREEMENT
★ A rental agreement is required for bookings of 30 days or longer and is to be signed by all parties on the reservation.

PETS
★ Limit 2 dogs under 40 pounds, no aggressive dogs
★ No cats or other types of pets
★ Please try to keep dogs of furniture, especially bedding
★ If pets cannot be kept off furniture, pet blankets have been provided to cover furniture (in the laundry area), and vacuum is provided for cleaning up excess pet hair.
★ Extra cleaning fees may be assessed if excessive pet hair removal is required.

GENERAL
★ No smoking indoors or outdoors
★ No indoor vaping
★ Please observe the city’s strict quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Move indoors after 10 pm.
★ Must be at least 25 years old to book
★ No fireworks
★ If you are decorating, no confetti or glitter may be used, and Scotch or blue painter’s tape only
★Our thermostat is programmed so it can’t go below 70 degrees. In the hot summer months, keeping it any lower may damage the AC unit, and most guests find it to be plenty cool in the house. Additionally, there are ceiling fans in all rooms for your comfort.

NOTE: Guests who break the house rules may be evicted and held liable for all damages, repairs, fines, fees, and legal costs incurred.

SECURITY
★ Your safety matters. There are 4 security cameras recording audio/video, one located at the front door, one inside the garage, one at the back yard gate, and one at the back patio door. All are aimed to capture entrances and none look into any interior spaces. Rest assured your privacy is important to us! These are monitored to ensure that only authorized guests and service providers are on the property, and in case of noise complaints or emergencies.
★ We have noise monitoring devices inside and outside the home to alert us to levels of volume that would disturb neighbors. They cannot record conversations nor allow us to listen in.
